Villa Ravello is a family villa in Muscat, Oman, designed in soft linen textures, warm oak and soft bronze, from a welcoming entrance and majlis to a show kitchen and the children's rooms. Designed by ELE, one of the best interior design studios in Dubai, for a client in Oman.
Our clients asked us to design a villa that welcomes guests graciously and still feels relaxed for family life. The brief covered the entrance, the majlis, a show kitchen, family living, the master bedroom and the children's rooms.
The mood board is warm and understated: textured linen-look wallcoverings, oak panelled doors, pale stone floors, soft bronze fittings and natural accents such as olive trees and dried flowers.
In the visualisations, the entrance greets guests with a tall panelled oak door, linen-textured walls and an olive tree in a stone planter. A staircase with a slim black metal balustrade rises above softly lit built-in shelving, and the same calm palette carries through the majlis, the kitchen and the private rooms upstairs.
