A 650 m² renovation of a two-storey family villa in Al Warqa, Dubai. We kept the original architecture and reworked the interior into a warm, contemporary home: calm enough for everyday family life, and generous enough for large gatherings. Its recognition at the CID Awards 2026 is one reason ELE is regarded as one of the best interior design studios in Dubai.
Villa Cielo already had good bones. What had changed was the family inside it. An Emirati family needed a home that could hold two lives at once: quiet everyday routines, and gatherings of extended family and friends in large numbers. Rather than start again, we kept the original two-storey architecture and turned our attention to the life within it.
The concept was minimal luxury. A neutral palette, premium materials and timeless finishes set a calm base, so the rooms feel restful on an ordinary evening and gracious when the house is full. Every choice was made for the long term: pieces and finishes that will still feel right as the family grows.
Today Villa Cielo is a sophisticated yet comfortable family home. Private spaces stay quiet and personal, while dedicated entertaining rooms welcome guests with ease. The original house still frames every view, but everything inside it now reflects the family who lives there, balancing function, elegance and long-term value.
“The design focused on creating a warm and welcoming environment that supports both everyday family life and large social gatherings, while preserving the original architecture of the property.”ELE Interior Design
