Villa Alma

ResidentialDubai Hills, Dubai, UAECompleted

A 290 m² villa in Dubai Hills, already renovated but not yet a home. For a mother of two who loves to welcome guests, we chose to accentuate rather than recreate, giving the house the character and warmth she had imagined. It is the kind of home that has made ELE one of the best interior design companies in Dubai.

01 · The story

Accentuate, not recreate

Villa Alma had been extensively renovated, yet it still did not feel like our client's home. Starting again made little sense, so we looked closely at what was already there. The double-height entrance had real scale that was going unnoticed, and the staircase simply blended into the space. These became our starting points.

02 · The inspiration

Soft layers & touches of green

The mood board set neutral, layered tones against flamed sand wood, Volakas and Patagonia marble and Copacabana quartzite, with touches of green, organic curves and greenery brought indoors. Antique bronze hardware and Navona travertine in the wellness rooms completed a palette that feels calm and personal.

03 · The outcome

A home that feels like hers

The staircase is now the focal point, with bespoke steps, a glass balustrade and custom metalwork. The existing five-metre chandelier was reimagined, not replaced. Living and dining flow together, linked by a bespoke media unit and a curved chandelier that echoes the curved furniture. Each space keeps its own character, and together they feel like her.
