01 · The story
Many generations, one home
Set against the desert landscape of Palm Springs, this new residence is a retreat for an extended family. The challenge was to give every generation room for its own taste and routines while the house keeps one clear identity. Grand entrance and formal spaces host everything from family dinners to large celebrations and business events, and the architecture itself is celebrated throughout.

02 · The inspiration
Desert light, layered
The palette is light, warm and airy, inspired by the understated elegance of the desert, then enriched with subtle contrasts, layered textures and considered touches of colour. A green-veined marble, warm oak and bronze-toned metal bring depth, and the mood stays welcoming and lived-in rather than formal.

The vision
In the visualisations, a generous island in green-veined marble anchors the kitchen beneath sculptural pendants. Beyond it, an oval dining table sits beside a glass-walled wine room, lit so the bottles glow like a display. Warm oak runs through floors and joinery, so even the grandest spaces feel like home, and every generation finds its own place.
