Space to gather
Plain Desserts needed a café that works across two levels, with a long counter for service and plenty of seating for guests who like to stay.
02 · The inspiration
Warm & understated
The palette is calm and natural: warm timber, soft plaster-toned walls, oak chairs with sage cushions and plenty of plants, with linear lighting tracing the ceiling.
03 · The outcome
Easy at any hour
A long timber counter, softly lit from below, anchors the café beneath the Plain sign. Linear lights run overhead, wall lights warm the seating areas, and a staircase with a glass balustrade leads to the upper level. The result is understated and welcoming, a place to meet at any time of day.
