Villa Vista al Océano is a 327 m² villa renovation in Mauritius, where we are reimagining the living spaces and bedrooms and designing six bathrooms as calm, spa-like retreats. Our client asked us to renew an existing villa in Mauritius: the entrance, living and dining rooms, a covered patio, four bedrooms with their dressing rooms, and every bathroom. The aim is a home that feels light, relaxed and made for island living.
The mood board is soft and natural: pale oak, fluted textures, light stone and gentle curves, with sculptural lighting and timber furniture upholstered in soft, textured fabrics.
The bathrooms lead the way. In the visualisations, freestanding baths sit against fluted walls washed with concealed light, pale oak cabinetry warms the stone, and walk-in showers are lined in veined marble with lit niches. Each one feels like a small spa.
